Anna's Legislative Accomplishments

Ethical, Effective Leadership

Anna secured funding for relocating our police substation and fire station, and fixing major flooding problems in the Eagle River area.

Anna worked to enact Legislation which:

  • Prohibits fundraising during a legislative session.
  • Strengthens Alaska’s laws for reporting child pornography.
  • Provides Free hunting/sport fishing licenses for disabled veterans and active Alaska National Guard & Military Reserves.
  • Gives fishing and small game license resident rates to non-resident military and dependents.
  • Established the Alaska Personal Information Protection Act (ID theft and fraud protection).
  • Set up the Renewable Energy Grant Fund & Task Force.
  • Improved the effectiveness of the AK Children's Trust.
